Temple-Bar-Dublin

While Temple Bar can be an overpriced tourist trap, it wouldn’t be a trip to Dublin without sampling at least some of what this famous part of the city has to offer and to see what all the fuss is about! The aptly named pub is famed for its craft beer, live music and incredible Whiskey collection.

Opening hours: Sunday – Thursday 22.30 – 01.30 | Friday – Saturday 22:30 – 02.30

Toners

Situated on Baggot Street, Toners is one of Dublin’s oldest and most famous traditional pubs. A firm favourite amongst Dubliners and an absolute must for anyone visiting the city due to its quaint beer garden, relaxed and fun atmosphere, not to mention the close proximity to the  offices of tech giant LinkedIn.

O’Donoghues

A Traditional Irish Pub, located on Merrion Row, with live music seven nights a week, where locals and tourists alike “come to share the authentic character of one of Dublin’s oldest bars, and to admire the artistry of real Irish musicians.” It is no wonder that O’Donoghues is one of Dublin’s favourite pubs.

Slattery’s

A short walk from the offices of global tech giants Google and Facebook this lively pub, near Grand Canal Dock, is always bursting at the seams with happy patrons.

Come here for some delicious Mexican food and margaritas in their nightly fiestas with a laid-back intimate atmosphere.

The Bernard Shaw

An undeniably cool bar at the heart of Richmond Street. The main draw is the famous “Big Blue Bus” restaurant which serves some of the finest pizza in the city, out of a double-decker bus. Come here for the chilled out vibe and reasonably priced drinks.

The Liquor Rooms

Self-described as “a subterranean den of delight,” The Liquor Rooms is a cutting-edge cocktail bar. Located on Wellington Quay, it is the first Republic of Ireland bar ever to be nominated in the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards. A truly unique experience for the savvy drinker who wants more than just a night out. The Liquor Rooms “aim to please all of your senses” in a guaranteed fabulous evening set in the chicest of vintage surrounds.

Lillies’s Bordello

Located at the bottom of Grafton Street, Lillie’s is widely regarded as Ireland’s most renowned and prestigious cocktail lounge/club. With lavish rooms and beautiful decor, Lillie’s Bordello offers a multitude of indulgent entertainment experiences for anyone looking for an atmosphere of sophisticated luxury and comfort. Excellent venue, corporate entertainment.

Sophie’s at the Dean Hotel

Located on the top floor of the Hotel on Harcourt street, with a rooftop terrace that features stunning views of the city centre, Sophie’s is an excellent choice for anyone looking for an evening of fun on Dublin’s famous bustling Harcourt Street.

Opening hours: 7 nights a week 11:00 – 03:00            

The Black Door

This sophisticated piano bar, hidden behind a stunning Georgian facade, The Black Door offers a beautiful live music venue echoing the style of a 1930’s Prohibition Era watering hole with classic cocktails, fine wine and some of the best champagne selection Harcourt Street has to offer.

Opening hours: Thursday-Saturday: 17:00 – 04:00 | Closed Wednesdays

The George

Having been around for over 30 years, The George is one of the nation’s oldest and most favourited LGBT bar and club. Located on South Great Georges Street in the city centre, it continues to be a cornerstone for the social development of the LGBT community in Ireland.

House

Occupying two Georgian Townhouses, on Leeson Street between The Grand Canal and St Stephen’s Green, House has a feeling of relaxed glamour, luxury and ease throughout. A much-loved nightclub in Dublin.
