Greetings & Registration
You will be the first contact point to attendees. We are operating an electronic on site badging system and we need you to help the area run smoothly, welcoming people, directing them to the right spot and making sure no badge – no entry is enforced! This is the biggest team and a great way to start your adventure with our Volunteer Program!
In this role you need to be a jack of all trades. You will be out on the floor, answering questions from attendees and partners alike, pointing people in the right direction, calling in management assistance when you need a hand. In this team, you need to work hard but you will also see the event from a genuine organisational perspective.
For this team, we need detectives and fast runners. You will be assigned to one of our stages to assist the technical crew and make sure the keynote speakers make it to the stage on time. Get the audience seated and things kicked off on schedule. You will have a frontline view of all the presentations as they happen.
Whether you’re assigned to work with some of the high profile on site media, or you’re out on the floor documenting the goings on for social media, you are guaranteed a busy day in the thick of things.
We like to look after our speakers, because without them we would not ‘be’. In this team you could be responsible for collecting presentations, escorting speakers to the Stage crew, or even just helping them find a quiet corner to catch up on work.
You will take care of our partners, provide them with information they need and solve their problems as fast as you can. If you are interested in IT companies, it’s a great chance to talk to recruiters and developers from world-class brands!
This team is very mobile! You’ll take care of all our side events taking place in a range of other venues – deliver essentials and help set up. Some of these events may be taking place in the evenings where you will get to see the glam set up and twinkling lights of DTS at night.
