Logitech showcases range of solutions enhancing hybrid working at Dublin Tech Summit

For the vast majority of employees, five days a week in the office is something of a distant memory. Following the ease of lockdown restrictions many are required to work from the office only a couple of days per week or, in some cases, as often as they wish.

Working from home is no longer a ‘nice to have’ listed under company benefits, it is expected across businesses (where feasibly possible), with many new remote roles appearing in a bid to attract talent from all corners of the country, even globe.

While it took a pandemic to accelerate the culture shift that is hybrid working, this move has been coming for some time, as businesses increasingly place their trust in employees to complete their work from wherever they wish – be that at home, on the move, or in the office. And it’s clear that this move enhances employees’ work-life balance and ultimately their output. After all, a happy employee is a productive one.

At the start of the pandemic many businesses and employees, issued with their expense quota, rushed to buy working from home equipment – equipment that may have tide them over in the beginning but are now unfit for purpose as we look to long-term, quality solutions that work seamlessly, are easy to manage and are comfortable. At Dublin Tech Summit (DTS) we will be showcasing a range of Logitech solutions that are helping businesses tackle this challenge and that will future-proof technology investments. For example our Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini – two all-in-one video bar conferencing systems suitable for rooms of different sizes will be on stand. While during the pandemic we were all dialing into meetings from home, now with colleagues and customers spread across offices, homes, even countries, quality video output is needed for those joining calls from a meeting room – avoiding the counterintuitive, and now archaic, scenario of commuting to an office for employees to take calls from their desks.

In addition to the importance of quality meeting room video conferencing solutions, we know that full time office workers can spend around 1700 or more hours a year in front of a screen. This is a significant amount of time where, without the correct setup, they could be damaging their bodies and wellbeing. There is a direct link between comfort and productivity as when we feel better, we work better. Choosing mice and keyboards like Logitech’s MX Keys Combo for Business, the ERGO K860 for Business keyboard or even our new Lift mouse – all ergonomically designed products aimed to ease strain brought about by repetitive work like moving a mouse or continuous typing. These products, and others, will be on show at DTS as we continue to aid businesses make better technology choices for the wellbeing of their employees.

DTS provides an opportunity for us to showcase technology that offers different ways of working. In this new hybrid working world we’ve seen many businesses configure their offices such as creating breakout spaces where colleagues can enjoy face-to-face collaboration. This is why solutions like our Combo Touch, a keyboard case that helps turn an iPad into a laptop, is a great tool for those looking to work away from their desk. Paired with a Crayon, a digital stylus for the iPad, colleagues can get creative while on the move – taking notes, drawing and sharing after.

We’re excited to showcase our full portfolio of solutions at DTS, products that are truly changing the future of the workplace. Visit us at stand number: E32
