  • RDS daily parking rate: €10 per day.
  • The nearest Dart (light rail) station is a 5 min walk from the venue (Sandymount) on exiting the station take a right towards the Merrion Road.
  • The RDS is serviced locally by Dublin Bus from Dublin City Centre, with a number of routes:

  • Access to the venue: Entrance to the RDS will be via the Main Hall 1 entrance (on the Merrion Road side of the RDS)  DTS will take place in halls 1, 3 & 4 (Vision X taking place in Hall 4).

General Information

The Dublin Tech Summit 2024 will be held in person at the RDS in Dublin on 28 – 29 May 2024. There will be different talks on day 1 and 2, from a broad range of over 200 expert speakers, an exhibit area with our 50+ partners, 150 startups to discover, networking events, and of course much more!

Although the RDS comprises iconic historic buildings, it strives to be an accessible venue for all. The RDS have provided the below accessibility information. If you require further assistance please contact [email protected]

Accessible Toilets

Toilets for people with disabilities are available throughout the venue. All of which have an alarm pull cord system and are unisex. Our staff are aware that not all disabilities are visible.

We encourage you to book your accommodation in the city as soon as possible for the DTS Summit. To help with this, we have made contact with a variety of hotels in the vicinity of the RDS venue and agreed on rates for a limited number of rooms. There is no on site ATM located within the RDS. The nearest ATM is on the Merrion road, ballsbridge (located beside the Horse Show House pub – opposite the entrance to RDS Hall 1)

Please familiarise yourself with your closest emergency exit at all times. In the event of an emergency please notify a member of the DTS team (Black staff t-shirts), a member of RDS staff or a member of the security team. There is a trained medic and health & safety officer on site at all times during event opening hours.

If it is an emergency medical situation requiring an ambulance please alert a member of staff immediately and an ambulance will be called.

Coffee breaks and lunch breaks are on the agenda.

Food is not included in the ticket cost. Food trucks will be onsite and there is an inhouse restaurant at the RDS to get food and drinks.

Guide dogs are welcome in the RDS in all areas.

DTS is an in-person only event at the RDS in Dublin, but some of the keynote speeches will be available on-demand online after the event.

Tickets must be purchased in advance of entering the registration area. If you have not bought a ticket and would like to attend the booking system remains open. 

Tickets must be purchased and paid in full online. Use this link to buy a ticket.

We have approx. 2,500 parking spaces on site. These are filled on a first come first served basis. The cost is €7.00 per car and can be paid by cash or card at the gate. 

We will fill the Anglesea side first and then open Simmonscourt if required.

At the RDS there are car parking, facilities and venue access available for people with disabilities. We have a number of Disabled Car Parking spaces located in the Merrion Rd Car Park and in the Simmonscourt Car Park.  These are available on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved in advance.

There will be a cloakroom on-site to check in coats. You can also check in small luggage but we have limited space so it will be on a first come first serve basis.

All of the of spaces in the RDS are wheelchair accessible:

  • Halls 1 – 8 (bar Hall 5) are at ground level and are easily accessible
  • All of the spaces located on first floor can be accessed by a lift
  • All Halls have access to disabled toilets
  • All meeting spaces are wheelchair accessible

The RDS have a limited number of wheelchairs, which can be booked through the DTS event team. If you have any other requirements such as medical assistance, please contact [email protected]

We do provide visa letters, in order to create the letter, you need to buy a ticket first.
Then please send the following information to [email protected]:

  • Your ticket receipt
  • A stamped letter from your organisation or college confirming your place/ title within the company
  • A photo of your passport
  • Visa Application Number

Once all the above is received, we will issue you with a stamped visa letter

There is a free open Wi-Fi network available for all attendees of the event to use. The network is RDS and there is no password.
